Full Name:Kim
Nickname: Kim
Age: about 17
BEAUTY
Hair Color: Dark dark brown
Eye Color: Brown
Overall Appearance:
Kim doesn’t like to dress by the rules—in other words, her style usually tends to be pretty funky. It can be anything from wearing a cowboy hat with a pink fluffy dress worn over a plaid blouse with boots or a funky-fied set of overalls. Her hair is always tied up in a strange fashion or a case of bedhead. Of course sometimes Kim tones it down, but when she’s feeling in a bright mode there’s no stopping her from rummaging through her closet and throwing whatever her hands first touch on. She tends to like wearing patterned high socks and brightly colored converse.
Kim doesn’t like wearing makeup unless she has to (at like a dance, for example). Probably because she isn’t really good at applying it. She likes wearing sort of chunky jewelry, bright and plastic. Though her outfits are a little different than normal it’s usually put together rather well, and Kim tries not to do anything too extreme as to make people think she purposely wants to be different. She’s really just a girly girl.

First Impressions:
At first, people tend not to like Kim too much—they think her personality comes off too strong by the way she dresses and what not and her vigor, but after they get to know her it’s hard not to like Kim. She can make friends easily if people let her. People at school sort of think Kim is in her own world until they actually talk to her.
Personality:
Kim’s a very perky girl who’s inspired by books and movies’ romance and comedy, which was why Jared falling for her was a dream come true since she had liked him for a long time. She’s more outgoing than most people. Kim’s informality offends some older people though she is actually rather polite to strangers. Being friendly comes quite easily to her, though in truth she is rather shy until someone approaches her. After one meets Kim she’ll get at ease and become friends with them…though sometimes this can make her too friendly.
While her personality gives little room for Kim not to like anyone, it’s evident that many times people don’t like her, finding her aggravating for being different. She doesn’t let those type of people get to her though, usually treating them with respect (a trick that she learned from her father to show that she’s better than that). In class Kim tends to zone out and not talk at all (making her not stand out at all), so it was no wonder Jared hadn’t noticed her until he imprinted.
HISTORY
Life: Kim had always liked being a little bit different. But like every other girl, she dreamed about the perfect guy. She could easily lose herself in romantic stories and movies. But whenever Kim liked someone, they seemed to either like/be dating someone else, not be interested in dating, homosexual, or they merely just didn’t like her back. It made her sort of give up on that sort of love life for a long time, leaving Kim to simply dream about it during elementary school and junior high, playing kickball while some of her friends began dating.
For a while it caused Kim to doubt herself…perhaps dressing differently and being so…lively…wasn’t a good thing. Kim tried dressing normally for a while and toning her personality down, and one guy even asked her out. It was awkward to say the least. But she felt like she wasn’t being herself, as if she had become someone else, and Kim didn’t like it. She reverted back to her old self, the guy broke up with her, and she could only hope that one day someone would like her for herself. But doubt filled—could such a prince even exist at La Push High?
However, later on in the years, Kim met Jared. He seemed to be everything that she wanted in a guy…but he didn’t even notice her. She would shyly stare at him in class, or when she was in a period that he wasn’t in, Kim would doodle her name intertwined with his. He was written about in practically every page of her diary. Kim could always spot him in a crowd…but he seemed not to even see her, walking past Kim without so much as a second glance. It was depressing, but she was used to the fact and she went on with her unrequited love for months.
Then one day, all that changed. Jared…he changed. For a year Kim sat next to him but he barely said one word to her, and one day he couldn’t just stop talking to her. And then she found out about werewolves, the pack, imprinting—and Kim was thrilled. She found it sort of cool, and she was blissfully happy that Jared had “imprinted” on her. Sometimes she worries about him, but other than that, Kim is completely fine with the whole werewolf situation. She sort of thinks of it like a fairytale.
Kim tried to tone her style down sometimes to the point of even being plain so that Jared would like her more. She wasn’t really sure how to react since no one had ever really liked her before, and it took Kim a while to realize that he liked her for who she was. Sometimes she gets nervous enough to wear normal clothes, but in the end she’s still the funky, lively Kim.
Clique Info:
Jared: Kim adores Jared, and she always will. It’s almost as if she had imprinted on him first. Kim knows she’ll never like anyone else—Jared’s all she could ever ask for in a boy. All you have to do is read her diary to find out.
Paul: Kim thinks Paul’s actually pretty funny how his temper is so easily aroused, but she’s careful not to aggravate him. Then again, if she does piss him off, all Kim has to do is give him a batch of brownies as an apology.
Sam: Kim respects Sam like the rest of them as a sort of leader. She was nervous upon meeting him, but she thinks he’s pretty nice. Usually.
Emily: Kim really likes Emily since they’re both imprintees—they have a lot in common. And Emily’s hard not to like. Plus, she cooks great. Kim looks up to her.
Jacob: Kim thinks Jacob is a great guy though like most of the other werewolves, easily angered. She knows about the whole Bella situation though, and she feels sorry for him because she knows what unrequited love is like.
Seth: Kim likes Seth well enough and thinks he’s cute (not in THAT way) how he wants to be very involved with the pack. She thinks he’ll be a really good werewolf when he gets older, not that he’s a bad one right now though.
Leah: Kim isn’t too sure what Leah thinks of her but she thinks Leah is a pretty cool chick. She wants Leah to like her, but she doesn’t want to aggravate the werewolf either.
Embry & Quil: The Dynamic Duo…in some ways. Kim thinks they’re pretty neat guys.

Now that Mardy Bum...I see you frowning and it’s like looking down the barrel of a gun…
The lyrics to one of Kim’s favorite songs blared loudly, making her wake up quickly. Ugh…was it time to get up already? Kim rolled over and glanced at her iPod alarm clock. Yup, 9:30 am. She sighed, tugging the covers off and stretching. The music of the Artic Monkeys blasted deafeningly—not that it mattered, because both of her parents worked on Saturdays. She walked over to her dresser in her plaid red boxers and black band tee scratching her head and yawning in her bedhead. Now, what would she wear for today? It was going to be a rather lazy day, a normal Saturday with procrastination of homework and watching television. Jared was busy today, apparently something with the pack and Kim respected that. Besides, they’d meet up later for dinner at her house. She missed him, of course, but there was nothing she could do about it. She was going to make one of his favorite foods—macaroni with bits of hot dog cut up in it, seven pieces of fried chicken, and three hamburgers with a glass of orange soda. Hopefully it’d be enough to fill him up. It probably wasn’t, but after the meal they’d probably watch some television together with popcorn and ice cream and a bowl of candy on the coffee table. Being a werewolf was a blessing, because if he wasn’t, Jared would probably be a rather large boy.
“Laughs and jokes around…remember cuddles in the kitchen yeah to get things off the ground,” Kim sang along with the music as she searched through her racks of clothes. She turned and glanced out the window. It was cloudy as always, so she took out her orange scarf. Kim hummed the rest of the song as she put on a pink shirt and a pair of comfy worn-in jeans. She pulled a pair of rainbow knee-socks over the jeans and paired it with her brown boots and left her messy hair the way it was, pulling a dark green sweatshirt on but leaving it unzipped. Red skirt layered on top of the jeans. One glance in the mirror said Kim was good to go, and she clicked her music louder to volume forty as she headed into the tiled bathroom connected to her room, pushing through the many threads of beads hanging from the door. The ducky shower curtains and hot pink rugs greeted her.
Kim picked up her red electric toothbrush and squirted some Colgate toothpaste on and began brushing as the next song began to play. Now it was Daft Punk, another one of her favorites, but Kim couldn’t sing along with a mouth full of toothpaste. She spit the blue froth out into the sink and ran the water to wash it down the drain. Kim splashed some of the cold water onto her face—invigorating in the morning—and wiped it on one of the terrycloth towels. She tossed it over her shoulder onto the metal bar after using it, and the towel landed messily onto it but on it nonetheless. She wasn’t exactly a neat freak. In fact, there was an old Styrofoam cup of instant ramen sitting on her desk in her room that Kim hadn’t (dared to) touch in weeks, the old noodles hard as steel by now. It wasn’t exactly her fault though, because the trashcan was filled with old snacks that had been consumed by she and her boyfriend. But mostly her boyfriend.
Kim had never really been a breakfast person, so she just snatched up a oats and honey bar from the pantry and chewed it on her way out the door, leaving the music on her room on because she never liked returning home to a quiet house. She was never really a purse person either, her wallet squeezed into her jeans pocket. Kim had decided yesterday to buy a cake for she and Jared to share after dinner, and she headed off to the nearest bakery.
“Good morning!” Kim chirped brightly to the baker as she ordered two cakes—one chocolate with coffee bits and one vanilla with strawberries, knowing Jared would be more than able to eat both. She flashed him a wide grin after paying and skipped out the door, smiling and giggling as she imagined Jared’s happy face after seeing the two cakes.
