Overall Appearance: More average-looking than anything, but it is in that that she has beauty. Her heart-shaped face is framed by somewhat thin brown hair. She stands at an average height, though her frame is petite. She is not particularly curvy; she just wasn’t blessed in that way.
Most would not see the confidant young woman that resides within, though she is not overly concerned with that. Nothing about her clothing exudes particular confidence, and nor does she dress in a way that would attract attention. In fact, some people would even get the impression that she is rather boring.

First Impressions: Most would think that Bella is a quiet sort, and also very shy. Because of this some could gather that she is quite stuck-up. She’s not the most social of people, despite the fact that people do seem to talk to her when she doesn’t want them to. In all of this most would think her rather normal, and were in not for the fact that she moved to a small town in the middle of the school year, she would probably not have been noticed.
Personality: Beneath the quiet and sometimes shy exterior, Bella can be quite fiery. She knows what she wants and sometimes will stop at nothing to get it. Especially when it comes down to anything having to do with Edward. He has become her world, and her love for him has perhaps turned into something of an obsession. What she is now is what he has made her. Some would see that as a weakness, but she believes that she has found what it is she has to live for. And Bella never does anything half-way, why would love be any different?
Even with all of this, Bella just does not see herself as others would. For so long she was just the plain girl, never anything special. And she truly cannot believe that someone would go to such lengths to protect and love her. She would fully give herself over to something or someone, and not expect much in return. As she grows she is slowly seeing that this is not the case, but it is hard to break a certain way of thinking when one has been taught to think that way. Bella is also quite mature, due to the fact that she had to take care of her mother for so many years.
HISTORY
Life:The beginning of Bella’s life was nothing out of the norm. She was born in the tiny town of Forks to a young and inexperienced couple. At only a few months old this marriage crumbled, and it was her mother Renee that would take her elsewhere. So it was to Phoenix, Arizona that they went.
This large city was where Bella spent her childhood. Her life would have been much simpler were it not for the childlike Renee, however for Bella it was the norm. Growing up was not overly difficult; she just seemed to have matured faster than the rest of the people her age. But she did do the normal things that little girls do; like taking dance and swimming lessons. Growing up many of her summers were spent in Forks with her father Charlie, who had perhaps not ever gotten over her mother.
It was when Bella turned seventeen that things changed. She would be permanently moving to Forks to be with her father, who was more a stranger to her than anything. But Bella knew that she needed a change. Renee had found herself a new husband, and though Bella had no strong objections to him she just didn’t want to spend time with the happy couple. Little did she know how much change this decision would bring.
This move to Forks proved to be more eventful than anything she had ever experienced. No longer was she just a wallflower; suddenly she was the centre of attention. She was not so daft as to think it had anything to do with her; it was just that she was something new to look at. But after meeting the strange Cullen family she found that she could not help but try and find out more about them. The realization that they were not human but vampires should have scared her, but it did not. If anything, it drew her in closer; in particular to the ‘youngest’ of them all, Edward. Even though his drive to kill her was incredibly powerful, Bella knew that all she wanted was him.
And though he never harmed her physically, what he put her through was more than anything she had ever dealt with in her life. But it has made her stronger; made their love stronger. And vampires were not the only mythical creatures to enter her life, for she befriended Jacob Black in a time when she was completely and utterly alone. As she found out what he was this too did not surprise her. However it would seem that their friendship would prove to cause a few problems.
After a few close encounters and a full out battle, Bella finds herself on the verge of becoming a vampire. She has lost her best friend but gained a fiancé, both of which is still scaring her a little. Time will only tell what the future will hold.
Clique Info:
-Edward Cullen: He is the love of her life; the reason for her existence. Edward is everything she ever dreamed of and more, and sometimes still cannot believe that he would find anything remotely interesting about her. There are times when she waits for the moment she will wake up and it will all have been a dream. There is nothing that will stop her from loving him, and existence without him would be pointless. There is nothing that he can do that will place him on her ‘bad side’, for she will always justify it by something. Even in leaving her…she had known it was her fault.
Jacob Black: He is her best friend; the one who made it so that Edward even had something to come back to. While Edward is her drug Jacob is her sun; he’s always there to make her smile. Even when he is frustrating she finds it hard to stay mad at him. Only recently she has discovered the true depth of her love for him, only to realize that it is far too late.
Alice Cullen: Her best female friend. Alice is a ball of perpetual energy, and sometimes tires Bella out. Especially with the incessant shopping. But Bella knows that Alice means well, and loves the girl very dearly.
Angela Weber: Counted as her best human friend. Angela is very perceptive, and in this way knows when it is time to talk and when it is time to be silent. For this Bella is grateful, for she herself enjoys silence. She wishes she could have gotten to know her better.
Mike Newton: Her own personal stalker, at times. She works for his parents, and though she is with Edward he still manages to find time to ask her out on a date. Bella wishes she could get closer to Mike and not have him think she’s interested having anything more than a friendship with him.
Jessica Stanley: Her first ‘friend’ in Forks, though Jessica has proven to be slightly fickle, joining forces with Lauren Mallory in the ‘I hate Bella’ club. Though Bella doesn’t really feel much of a loss on that one.

Example2: The sound of the rain pelting against her bedroom window had become a sound of confort for her. Never, when she first moved here, did Isabella Swan ever imagine that she would grow accustomed to such a sound, and even come to miss it when it wasn't there. At present she was sitting at her desk, her computer humming lightly in front of her. It had taken a while to boot, and since there was no homework to occupy her, Bella had allowed for her mind to wander.
It was incredible, how much a life could change over the span of a few, short years. Just over two and a half years had passed since her first arrival to Forks, Washington, and so much had changed. First of all, she quite liked it here, in this quiet, small town. The city of any kind no longer held a charm for her. Though, Bella was beginning to wonder if it were more due to Forks' strange occupants than the town itself. She imagined that if she had met Edward somewhere else in the world, she would have thought that the most enchanting place. It was something to think about, at any rate.
In that short time Bella had found herself the object of more than one vampire's desires, good and bad. She had experienced a pain like no other, a pain that no human or creature of any sort should ever have to live through. But she had, and those few months were but a bad dream to her now. She had watched as her best friend grew rapidly before her eyes, eventually changing into a werewolf. And she hadn't heard anything from that best friend in a very long while, and couldn't keep the guilt from eating at her a little.
Perhaps the most significant thing of all, was that Isabella was now facing some very permanent changed. First of all, she was now engaged. Absently her gaze drifted to the ring on her finger, flexing her hand as she did so. Not only that, but she was coming to the end of her human days. Was there anything more permanent than that? It didn't frighten her at all, and there were no regrets. But still...she couldn't help but thing about how life might be...
The computer was finally ready, and she forced her train of thought to come to a stop. No. She was happy with her decision. There was no life without Edward, and that was just the simple fact of it all. Her hand moved to the mouse, and she then clicked around, getting the internet to connect. The screeching and beeping of the modem did little to cut through the sound of the drumming rain, but soon enough it was finally ready.
True to her expectations, there was an e-mail from Renee. Since finding out about the wedding her mother's e-mails had taken on a different tone. At first they had been uncharacteristically short, as if her mother was too shocked to actually function. Bella didn't blame her. But now, and it was so like Renee, she was pressing for details, wanting everything to work, making sure Bella knew what she was doing, scolding her for making the same mistake she had...and so on and so forth. Bella took them all rather good-naturedly, knowing that her time to seriously communicate with her mother would be short. Hopefully, with time, that would all come back.
Bella had to admit; it was rather boring without Edward around, but he was supposed to be out doing something...and he had refused to tell her what. It probably had something to do with Alice's scheming again, but she had finally given up. There was no point in arguing about it. So it was here in front of the computer that Bella found herself, typing yet another response to her over-dramatic mother.
