Your age now: 20
Your age when you were changed: ((I actually have no idea. I looked…))

Overall Appearance: Tall and muscular, just like every other werewolf. His muscles are toned and not small, due to the sleeping wolf that lays within him. His jaw is square, and his face is quite handsome.
Just like the rest of the natives that live on the reserve, Sam has deep, russet coloured skin. He is not frail by any means, as some of his people tend to be. Sam typically has a sort of stern look about him, which causes him to be rather intimidating.

-Understanding
Weaknesses:
-The guilt he feels
-Not enough knowledge to take down a truly formidable vampire alone
-Can’t hide anything from anyone (pack mind)
Habits:

-Cliff-jumping to clear his mind
-Taking things too seriously
-Running his hand through his hair when he’s stressed
First Impressions: At first glance, Sam is a rather intimidating looking guy. But this is only to be expected. He is a werewolf living very close to a large number of his mortal enemy. For those that do not know him he does not at all seem very approachable.
Personality: Sam tries to hide a lot of himself, though it is difficult when one’s mind is completely connected with everyone else’s. He feels that it is his job to protect his people and those that he loves, and will stop at nothing to do just that. As a leader he is very capable, though unrelenting in his orders. But he does know when understanding is needed.
Beneath this, Sam is quite different. He is a young man, and he does enjoy having a good time. There is nothing he likes more than spending a quiet afternoon with Emily. He is still conflicted with what he did to her and Leah, for he cares for them both. It is due to this guilt that he hates what he has become, and in turn hates the vampires for causing him to be this way.
HISTORY
Life: Sam Uley thought he was going to have a normal life. In high school he fell in love with a girl named Leah Clearwater, and they were going to get married. Sam was going to go to college and he was going to build a stable life for his future family. He was going to be everything that his father had not been.
But all of this would be torn away from him, one fateful night. With his body sick and aching, he called for a doctor. The elders of the village only watched him with grim looks on their faces; they knew what was happening. But no one would explain to poor Sam what was going on, and he was completely lost. When the time for the actual change took place Sam was horrified with what he was, and took off into the forest.
For two weeks he was out there, running in the form of a giant, black wolf. He could not face his family; could not face Leah. Two things were pushing and pulling within him; two identities. The human and the wolf. Each sought to dominate, and he looked for a balance. Finally he did calm himself down enough to phase back. He went to the elders first, and they told him he could tell no one. Not even Leah. This would break him.
One day while spending time with Leah, her cousin Emily was visiting. Now, Sam had seen her before and hadn’t really thought much about her. However this time it was as if the universe had shifted, and she was at its centre. He did not know what this feeling was, and was very afraid of it. This he told to the elders, who were concerned. They told him of a legend about imprinting. Sam didn’t know what that was. All he knew was that Emily had suddenly become everything he lived for. And he would tell her; he felt he had to. But as he tried to do so she rejected him. This caused him to get angry, and he phased. In the process he destroyed her face. Appalled with himself Sam took off again.
Upon his return he was broken, but eventually it all worked out. Sam and Emily would be happy together; they would get married. But he felt guilty for what he had done to her, and even worse for having to break it off with Leah and not explain why.
Since then much has changed; he is no longer alone. All the conventions have been broken and walls torn down. Leah has joined the pack. Most of them have imprinted. They have teamed up with the very leeches they hate, though Sam was not happy about it. For now he waits until the day that he can become normal again.
Pack Info:
Jacob Black: The alpha by heritage, though he doesn’t want it. Sam thinks very highly of Jacob, and knows his pain. With him he is a little more understanding, and at the same time harsher.
Seth Clearwater: Seth is like a younger brother to him, and has been since his days with Leah. Sam is glad that Seth holds no disdain towards him for what he did; especially now that he has a better understanding of it all.
Leah Clearwater: His former love, and the first female werewolf. Sam feels incredibly guilty for what he has done, and the person he has turned her into. He only hopes that she will someday become the Leah that he had loved before, even though he can give her nothing more than friendship.
Embry Call: Embry is the quietest of the bunch, coming off as more reserved than the rest. He has a strong sense of duty that Sam admires, through all of his shyness.
Quil Ateara: Absolutely terrified of the whole prospect at first, though he is now the most enthusiastic about it. For Sam he is a never ending source of entertainment.
Jared: One of the first to join him in this life. One of the older and more sensible of the pack, for which Sam is grateful.
Paul: One of the older ones as well, but definitely a live wire. Sam wishes Paul would calm down, but has a feeling it will be a while before that will happen.
Collin and Brady: Still very young and new to the pack; Sam knows that he has to watch over these two more than the others.

Example2: It had actually been quite a while since Sam had found himself on the edge of this cliff, and even longer since he had been here alone. In the early days of his transformation, when this life had been new to him, he had often found himself here. The first time was still fresh in his mind. It had been only a few days after his return to La Push, after spending many weeks out running and trying to get himself under control. He had found that even in his human form, his senses were heightened and his strength amplified. As a young boy he had, many times, jumped off the lower part of this very cliff. As teens he and his friends had often dared each other to jump from the top; but they all knew it would be the death of them. But then everything had changed. With his new body he had felt virtually invincible. And the healing rate was increadible; if anything did happen he knew he would be perfectly fine. Of course, that was partially the male ego talking. It had taken a while the very first time, his mind still stuck in its human state, filled only with human limitations. But the first time his feet had left the cliff...there was nothing like it. The feeling of the water against his hot skin had been absolutely invigorating. He had gone for more. And then, when others had joined him in this life, he had shared the experience with them.
At present, Sam Uley stood at the edge of the cliff, clad only in a pair of cut-off trousers; not even shoes adorned his feet. It was a relatively nice day; the sky was overcast and there was a slight drizzle of rain. But it was surprisingly warm, as it was getting into the summer months. The soft rain felt good on his burning body, as it usually did. Brown eyes were staring out over the water, seemingly mesmorized by the waves. The ocean was uncharacteristically calm; perfect for cliff diving. Not that he'd have stayed away if it were storming...it was just easier to make a story in case a stranger were to find him up here. As far as he knew, no one from the pack had followed him, for he had been the only one running. But that could change quickly, for Emily knew where he was, and relaying the information to anyone else would not be difficult. He had not left instructions to be left alone, though the solitude was not unwelcomed.
From the cliff he could almost see the whole of La Push. It wasn't a huge place, but he wouldn't live anywhere else. He would have liked to have gone away to school for a bit, but he knew that, in the end, he would have returned here. Even before the pack had emerged, he had viewed the reservation as being the safest place on Earth. Now, with he as its protector, he knew that to be true. Even with their most dangerous enemy at their doorstep, they were safe.
Stepping forwards, Sam placed himself at the very edge of the cliff, his toes curling around it. Closing his eyes he drew in a deep breath, and a light smile was present on his face. He stood there like that for a few moments, then bent his knees, throwing himself off the edge. For a few moments he was free falling, picking up speed as he went through the water. The way in which he went down indicated that he was a vetran at such a sport, as his form was graceful and flawless. Head first he dove, finally meeting the cold water below him. There were a few seconds in which he had dissapeared beneath the depths, but he did not panic. A minute later he re-appeared, taking no time in swimming back to the shore. This process would all be repeated.
